If a Service Provider doesn't make it right, we will. Every job booked through the Boat-Bridge Concierge marketplace is backed by a 3-step resolution process — so the work gets done, every time.

How the Promise works

A 3-step path. Most jobs never get past step 1.

Your Service Provider rectifies the issue

Flag the issue inside Boat-Bridge within 14 days. Your Service Provider has 7 days to make it right — return the boat to working order, redo the work, or agree to a partial credit. Most cases are solved here.

We mediate

If you're not satisfied after step 1, our team reviews the in-platform messages, photos and invoice. We make a determination — both you and the Service Provider agree this is binding before any job starts.

Boat-Bridge backs you up

If the Service Provider refuses our determination, we step in: we source a qualified replacement on our dime, or issue a Boat-Bridge credit toward future work. The non-compliant Service Provider is suspended from the network.

What the Promise covers

Plain English. No fine print games.

Covered

  • Workmanship that doesn't meet the agreed scope
  • No-shows after a confirmed booking
  • Damage caused by the Service Provider during the job
  • Failure to use parts or materials as quoted

Not covered

  • Change of mind after the job is complete and accepted
  • Issues you found a cheaper price for elsewhere
  • Wear-and-tear unrelated to the booked work
  • Jobs booked or paid for outside the Boat-Bridge platform
  • Acts of nature, owner-caused damage, or pre-existing conditions

Fair-use rules

The Promise protects operators who deal in good faith. To keep the system fair for everyone — Service Providers included — a few rules apply:

  • All claims must be filed in-platform with photos and a clear description of the issue.
  • Boat-Bridge's mediation determination is final and binding for both parties.
  • Backstop resolutions are issued as Boat-Bridge credits toward future work — not cash refunds.
  • Operators with a pattern of rejected claims may lose access to the Promise.
  • Service Providers with repeated valid complaints are removed from the network.
